Karu Apps B.V based in Landgraaf, The Netherlands claims responsibility for the collection, usage and processing of the data of the users of our website’s and mobile applications.

The data we collect

Karu Apps might ask you to provide personal information which is necessary to make use of their website and or mobile applications. This is for the creation of personal accounts for its users and/or the deliverance for the expected service.

Personal data that may be expected from its users include:

- Email Adress

- Other personal data which is required for the completion of your account

Regarding data of users younger than 16 years old, our services do not have the intention to collect information from them unless consent has been given by their parents or guardians. However, because we cannot verify the age of the users, we recommend the parents and guardians to be involved in the online interaction of their children in order to prevent that information is being given without consent. Purpose of collecting data

Karu Apps collect personal data for the following purposes:

- To deliver services to the users

How long data is stored

Karu Apps does not save any personal data longer than necessary to fulfil the purposes meant for the collection. Karu Apps store the user’s data for no longer after 1 year after the deletion of the account. This is in case that the user would like to restore their account.

Sharing data with third-parties

Karu Apps may share your personal data with third parties only if this is necessary to perform an agreement that if legally obligatory. Data may also be shared if this is necessary to uphold the fulfilment of the initial purposes mentioned above. Before sharing any information with third parties, an agreement will be made for the protection of your data. Karu Apps will nevertheless still be responsible during these agreements for the data. Adjusting and Deleting data.

Users have the right to see, correct and delete their personal information. In addition, users enjoy the right to object their personal data being processed by Karu Apps after the agreement, as well as the right of data portability. This means that you can make a request to have your personal information sent to you or your organisation in a digital file. You are able to make a request to see, correct, to the portal the data from your personal information. This can be done by sending an e-mail to contact@karu-apps.com. To ensure that the request has been made by you, you will be requested to send a copy of identification. For this copy, make your pass photo MRZ (machine readable zone) and the numbers at the bottom of the passport and BSN number in black. We will aim to reply as soon as possible, which is within 4 weeks of your request. Taking a complaint can also be done at the National Supervisor.
